Wow I like that 3x5 Lansing horn!
What I am calling an "old Altec 612" had that kind of cotton batting and a diagonal slab of mineral wool board. No braces.
I was listing to this 808 horn version Iconic last month in the Silbatone factory. Pretty good! Those Lansing field coil woofers are really great.
